Here it is!! ( The big news and the mini-sessions)

January 23, 2010

I can’t even believe I’ve managed to keep this such a secret for so long! This past August we found the most perfect space for a NEW STUDIO! Right on Main St is WhiteHouse station NJ, our new studio is located only 5 minutes from RT 78 and is less then 1 block from NJ transit train lines!

We have been diligently working away at getting this space ready and we began shooting there this past December and I could not be any more happy then I am!

When we first saw the space it was almost cut in half by old drop-ceilings..imagine my surprise to find the original tin tiles!!

I have to thank my contractors, we really had an AMAZING crew working with us over the past several months getting us ready for you!

* Ark Builders general contracting ( Owner Rob Vasquez) Rob was there every day working hard to get our ceilings and other little details ready for us! His crew was extremely professional and got the job done quickly! There are several “Ark builders” in NJ, but you can reach the one we used by emailing Rob’s wife Kim who handles the office at : kimberlyvasquez@hotmail.com

* Alpine Flooring  : http://www.alpinefloorsnj.com/ The Owner Sean Francis meet with us almost the same day we called and had the entire studio done within a week. They did an outstanding job on our floors, I can”t tell you how many compliments we have gotten on the floors!

*Rozano signs – Paul is super friendly, and just a great guy to work with (908) 788-5042

*Image Painting and Pepper Pond electrical, both did great jobs for us and were amazingly fast! ( I’ll post contact info later, I need to ask my hubby for it)

So enough chatter and on to some pictures! I’m only showing a few “sneak peeks” as all of our furniture is not in yet and we need to find a new interior decorator ( Any recommendations? Email me!) but here are just a few..

( Keep in mind they are just quick snap shots!)

Our sign ! We had to go through the Historical society and Zoning board of Readington Township first but both were great to work with!

And every girl should have a chandelier right?

The studio is being designed around this rug and around a very “French” feel. So modern meets Old world French meets NYC ;o)

The Rug is Amy Butler for Chandra

And of course a little share from a session we did there last week, to give you an idea of some of the things we can do there.. Such a cute little one!!

So as you can see I’m VERY excited about this space! It has a large shooting area, a Reception area, Large back office, Changing area, Kitchen, Gorgeous marble floored bathroom and prop room!

We also have a Starbucks in town and are right next door to some of the best food ever!
