Newborn in Tribeca

Earlier this summer I was driving down the road and saw this amazing 100 year old Pram being sold at an antique shop. It was love at first sight and I’ve just been dying to use it at the right time!

When this Mommy called me to do a newborn shot in Tribeca I knew I had to bring it and what a lucky girl I am that Mom just happened to look like a model and had this really cool vintage dress in her closet!!

The best part of this story? When we arrived at my favorite shooting spot in Tribeca Mom Gasped and told me this spot is the EXACT spot where her Husband proposed to her, it dosen’t get any better then that!! ♥♥

One is Fun Contest!! (New York Newborn and Baby photographer)

I’ve had a lot of last years newborns coming in for their one year shoots this month and thought it would be fun to make a contest out of it!!

The winner will receive a tray of yummy gourmet cupcakes from Cheryl’s!

So here is how it will work: (any one can enter, clients,readers,photogs )

I will be posting images from two of the one year shoots this week (between today and next Thursday).

You will need to leave a comment for each cutie (here on the blog) and then go into the blog and find their newborn pictures and leave a post there as well,but you have to be specific about the image you think it is ( Do you think you can figure it out, I just gave you a hint..)

I will then take all the names who got it right and place them into my handy dandy hat and have my 7 year old draw out a name. Very high tech I know.

Got it? Good.

Here’s our first Sweetie! Isn’t she cute? The curl right in the middle of her forehead (I know I’m missing a poetry opportunity here..) is the cutest thing EVER.

From an editorial shoot last week, gorgeous clothing (can’t mention the name until after the March shows unless the designer posts here that it’s ok now..ahemm hint hint *L*!! ), location and children!! I ♥♥♥ my job!! (portrait clients may shoot in this location as well!!)

I really am in love with these dresses, a lot of detail and everything is lined..really gorgeous stuff.

My own baby girl below was also asked along. We do not have her signed with an agency because it really is a full time job in itself that we dont have time for, but it’s nice that she can occasionaly come along when I shoot for girls lines..plus she likes earning money to blow..err..spend at gamestop!

Commercial Shoot

I had the pleasure of shooting the new fall line for (name removed until after the March market!! Sorry!) this week. This was such a fun shoot! We shot at the the largest historical preserved farm in Morris County. You should have seen it..it was absolutely gorgeous! The main house had all original hardwood floors, 4 bedrooms, 4 fireplaces with one of them being taller then I am with a bread oven in the side. Add to the mix, some gorgeous models (my own Daughter included!) and beautiful clothing..well..it’s safe to say I was in my glory!!

And two outtakes, just because they are so darn cute..and even though it didn’t show the clothing I just HAD to use those old dutch doors!!
