Christy: Gorgeous little fella!!! Awesome job heather!

Diane: OMG look at that face!!!

Heather: my goodness he is adorable!

Tobin: So, frick'n, cute!

It’s late Sunday night and I finally have a free minute to post a quick blog. I’ve been shooting this little guy since he was in his mommy’s belly! ( Maternity on my website in NYC with gorgeous curly haired mom!) . Yes, we lugged the bed right onto the streets of NYC..but it was so worth it!

Also our 2010 calendar is now open for bookings.

Becky: I work with this little guys aunt and he is too stinkin' cute. Love it!

Stephen: What a great picture! I commend you on thinking outside the box.

Alethea Fitzpatrick: Too cute! Did you get a lot of stares or did no one bat an eyelid?!

Every year there is a giant antique sale/yard sale/flea market in NJ. Anyone who knows me knows I have an addiction..err..love rather for anything antique and I could literally I think spend days upon days browsing these market’s with my Chai tea…however I think my husband who I drag along to lift my purchases would disagree with that one. :O)

When I saw this old HEAVY ( ie – the real deal!) wrought iron bed hidden away behind a stack of old headboards I knew it would be just perfect for what I had in mind for this family -

As you can see the girls had a bit of fun with some pillows first!!

We also brought the bed into NYC ( minus the feathers of course!) stay tuned for those images later this week!

Amanda Keeys: Oh heather these are so stunning! And go you lugging that big bed out, wow. LOVE the feathers going everywhere too.

I had such fun meeting this family and getting the chance to photograph their little angel! Mom choose to have their session in both Tribeca and Central park.

Newborn in Tribeca

October 10, 2009

Earlier this summer I was driving down the road and saw this amazing 100 year old Pram being sold at an antique shop. It was love at first sight and I’ve just been dying to use it at the right time!

When  this Mommy called me to do a newborn shot in Tribeca I knew I had to bring it and what a lucky girl I am that Mom just happened to look like a model  and had this really cool vintage dress in her closet!!

The best part of this story? When we arrived at my favorite shooting spot in Tribeca Mom Gasped and told me this spot is the EXACT spot where her Husband proposed to her, it dosen’t get any better then that!! ♥♥

After a client books a session we send them a great informational website that covers clothing choices, but from time to time I also like to share some favorites here!

One of my FAVORITE sites this fall for children’s clothing is CrewCuts, J crew’s version of children’s wear : Visit CrewCuts here

A few recent images :

This girls Mom really should consider becoming a stylist, Sweater is from crewcuts and skirt I believe is from JM originals. I love how how she pulled it all together!

Think outside of the box, Pair a boys shirt and tie with a cute jean skirt and boots! ( Again crewcuts sweater) :

For boys, jeans with a blazer and cool hat always work!

on a side note, please visit this little guy’s site if you have a chance! http://www.Michasbikes.com

A cape made of out a tablecloth , a sword and a newspaper hat can go a long way! Anything that really brings out your child’s personality is always a great addition to your session!

Kathy T: Love the images. Those kids all look so cool. I wish i had pics like that from when I was a kid! Also - I checked out the Micasbikes link, Great organization.

Amanda Keeys: Total gorgeousness. And I have to say, you do have some of THE best dressed clients :)

About 18 months ago I was at this little guys house shooting his big brother who was just born! So happy Mom and Dad had me back again to shoot their newest addition! Such a sweet and happy family!41

This one is so wonderful.. Mom and Grandma wanted an image of both of them so badly but their sweet toddler was just not having it at all until the very end of the session where he just walked right over to his new baby brother and gave him a kiss! I know Mom will treasure this one forever!!

Diane & Francesca: OMG sooo precious! The last picture is just so heart warming!
