You may recognize this Mommy from our Maternity galleries..she is one of our most talked about Maternity sessions and also the owner of a fantastic children’s boutique called Pumpkins and Petunias in Westfield NJ. You can visit her website here : http://pumpkinsandpetunias.com/ . Gina wanted an old film “Vintage” wash to some of her images and we were all very happy with the final results!

This session took place at an old estate 10 minutes from our WhiteHouse NJ studio. Get ready, this is quite a large share!

Excuse me while I get a little sentimental ~

There’s nothing like the golden light right before Sunset, it’s almost magical. I think I’ve said this before on the blog , but it always brings to mind one of my favorite Robert Frost poems, “Nothing Gold can stay”, I’ll save you a recital but if you have never read it you should. The poem really speaks to me as a Mother and as a Children’s Photographer about how quickly it all goes…kind of  like how the sunset is, beautiful and amazing but gone in the blink of an eye. It’s Golden. I’m not sure if that is what Frost was talking about or not, but that’s how I interpret it.

Now on to some pictures! I really enjoyed this session. Mom owns a fantastic Salon in Bernardsville NJ called “The Plaza Salon and Spa” .  It is a beautiful Salon and the people there really are so friendly! I know I’m going to be giving them a try very soon.

Our inspiration for this shoot were the new Ad campaigns for Guess Childrens wear.

First let me wish all of the Mother’s out there a few happy Mother’s day! I know I can’t wait to get all of my “handmade” treasures tomorrow…there’s just nothing better is there?

If these cute little one’s look familiar they should! They are in our current “Featured Gallery” on our website with their families beautiful beach session from this past summer. ( Go to HeatherMosher.com and look under the “Featured” section to view).

This family really is as wonderful and happy as they look! I have so much fun when we get together for our shoots!

The book images really are some of my new favorites. Anyone who reads my blog knows how much I love to hunt through antique stores, and currently much to my Husbands dismay I have two full garage bays filled with “treasures” just waiting for the perfect shoot.

I had been holding on to this book for almost a year..and when sweet little George came back with his big sister I knew it was the perfect time to use it!!

Mommy also brought Cupcakes from NYC’s Magnolia Bakery to use for Georges first birthday images… YUM!!!

Perfect Angel

This little one was just as perfect as can be! So glad her Mommy was able to get her in before their move to California for the season. If you are in the Flemington area and have children who are into sports I would highly recommend their business :

Wow a new blog post from me! haha!

The past few months have been a whirlwind with the new studio and what I believe is a major baby boom this past winter and spring! I don’t think in the years that I have been doing this we have seen so many new babies!

Hopefully over the next few weeks I will be blogging many of these cute, sweet sessions!

For now, just one of our little cuties from this year!
